Woven from the finest silk filaments, our Organza collection embodies a dreamlike quality. Characterized by its sheer transparency and exceptional stiffness, each saree is a modern-day masterpiece that floats around the silhouette with a delicate, shimmering grace.

Organza is thin, plain weave, sheer fabric traditionally made from silk. Its unique characteristic lies in its stiff yet lightweight texture, creating a dreamlike silhouette that has captivated royalty for centuries.

The word 'Organza' is believed to be derived from 'Urgang', an ancient town in Central Asia, a key stop on the Great Silk Road. It traveled from the spinning wheels of Bukhara to the looms of Italy and eventually to the heritage weaver clusters of India.
True silk organza is woven with 'acid-treated' yarns that give it a unique transparent and crisp finish, often referred to as the 'glass effect'. In India, this is elevated with intricate hand-painted 'Floral' designs and silver 'Gota Patti' work.

From classic hand-painted florals to contemporary metallic finishes, Organza remains a staple of high-fashion. It symbolizes a perfect harmony between strength and fragility, making it the choice of the modern-day Maharani.
